Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: April 2026

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Influencer Hawa. By signing up, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these operational rules.

1. Eligibility & Registrations

  • Pan-India Access: Registration is open to all residents of India. Any person, brand, creator, or service provider from any state (including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Maharashtra, etc.) is eligible to sign up.
  • Launch Optimization: While anyone in India may register and transact, users acknowledge that our operations, marketing support, and platform curation are primarily optimized for regional relevance inside Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

2. Account Statuses & Verification

2.1 The Read-Only Gate

Upon registering an account (via SMS/Phone, Google, or Apple login), the account is immediately placed in Read-Only Mode.

  • Under Read-Only Status: You can browse active campaign listings, view portfolios, and search the directory.
  • Write Restrictions: You cannot post campaigns, apply to work, send pitches, or initiate direct messaging until you complete your profile and verify your identity.

2.2 Write Access Activation

To activate full platform capabilities (allowing you to pitch, post, message, and receive funds), all three marketplace roles (Brands, Creators, and Service Providers) must:

  1. Complete all mandatory profile fields (Niche, City, Portfolio, and Services).
  2. Pass identity verification using government-backed DigiLocker KYC.

2.3 Multi-User Brand Accounts

Authorized businesses can permit multiple team members to access and operate a single, unified brand profile.

  • All users logging into the Brand account act collectively as the business entity. There are no individual "personal" identities or personal transactional rights on a Brand team account.

3. Campaigns & Budgets

  • No Floor Limit: Brands are permitted to post campaign listings starting at ₹0 (perfect for barter deals, product-for-post exchanges, or mutual collaborations).
  • No Ceiling Limit: There is no maximum budget limit on campaigns posted on the platform. Brands may scale campaigns to any financial threshold.
  • Symmetric Service Campaigns: Service Providers are also permitted to publish "Looking for clients" listings (e.g., offering services like "Reel Editing at ₹500 per reel").

4. The Escrow Holding & Payment System

4.1 Payment Security

To ensure absolute safety for all parties, all financial dealings (campaign hires and freelance service contracts) must flow through the Influencer Hawa Escrow System.

  • Post vs. Hire Rules: No capital is locked or charged when a Brand simply posts a general campaign.
  • The Lock Trigger: Funds are safely deposited and locked into the platform's escrow system exclusively at the moment of an actual hire (when both parties formally agree to milestone terms). Work should only begin after confirmation that the escrow is funded.

4.2 Milestone-by-Milestone Release

Lump-sum, upfront, or unverified payments are strictly prohibited on active contracts.

  • Escrowed balances are broken down and disbursed sequentially, milestone-by-milestone.
  • Funds for a specific milestone are released to the worker's wallet only after the hiring party confirms satisfactory receipt of the deliverable by tapping "Confirm Milestone" in the dashboard.

4.3 Wallet Rules and Thresholds

  • Wallet Balance: Every user is equipped with an integrated INR platform wallet.
  • Funding Minimums: To manage payment network processing costs, a strict minimum threshold of ₹100 per transaction applies to all wallet top-ups (UPI, Cards, and Net Banking).

5. Communication & Reply SLA Rules

5.1 Free and Paid Messaging Framework

  • The First DM is Free: Senders can send a first direct message to any user free of charge.
  • Guaranteed SLA Messages: If the recipient does not reply, the sender can purchase a "Paid SLA Message." This locks the message fee in escrow and starts a 24-hour response countdown.

5.2 The 24-Hour SLA Timer & Refunds

  • Recipient Action: If the recipient replies within the 24-hour window, the locked messaging fee is split/released, and the chat remains unlocked forever.
  • Sender Safeguard: If the recipient fails to respond within the 24-hour window, the transaction is automatically voided by the system, and a 100% refund of the message fee is instantly returned to the sender's wallet.

5.3 Availability Statuses

Users can toggle their status between Online, Available, and On a trip.

  • Senders are warned by the platform if they attempt to purchase a guaranteed SLA message to a user whose status is currently set to "On a trip" with an active return date. If the sender proceeds with the checkout despite the warning, they accept the standard 24-hour response clock risk.

6. Disputes and Mediation

  • Mutual Release Resolution: If a contract is terminated early by mutual consent, both parties can agree to a custom escrow split refund, returning the rest to their respective wallets.
  • Support Mediation: If a dispute arises due to incomplete work, missed guidelines, or payment ghosting, either party can escalate the milestone to the Admin Mediation Support Team (located in the left drawer menu). The decision of the platform's support team following a review of chat logs and work submissions is final.
